The Revd James Thompson prepared for the Baptist ministry via the
Glasgow Bible Training Institute as well as Kensit Bible College in
London. Later, for the Congregational ministry, via Paton College
and the University of Nottingham; and, later still, for the church of
England, via. Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.. He has been involved in
tutoring theology and humanities; he is the most outspoken cleric on
the subject of animal liberation within Britain today.
